We absolutely love the eight beautiful, purpose-built pickleball courts at Falconwing Park. These are dedicated outdoor hard courts with permanent lines and nets, free to play—and yes, they are well-lighted for evening games. Pros: • Top-notch maintenance: The courts and two nearby tennis courts are spotless and regularly cared for. • Free and accessible: No cost to play, with reservations available if you want guaranteed time  . • Evening lighting: Lights stay on for evening sessions—perfect for those who can’t play in the heat. • Community vibe: A welcoming mix of skill levels—kids to beginners to experienced players, with many familiar faces. • Reservation flexibility: Walk-on play is fine early in the morning; reservations help if you plan to arrive after 9:00 a.m. • Ample amenities: You’ll find restrooms, water fountains, and a well-organized setup for open play. Tips for first-time players: • Come early on weekends (before 9 a.m.) for best pick of courts unless you book ahead. • Be prepared for a range of playing styles and ages—great for learning and striking up games. • Evening sessions are supported by lighting, so you’ve got flexibility beyond daylight hours. Falconwing Park became the township’s first dedicated pickleball facility with these eight courts officially opened in July 2023 as part of a broader effort to support growing demand for the sport. New pickleball courts are awesome, book online before to get the best court on the weekends. Its always busy in the mornings from 7 to 9.

Great place for outdoor pickleball play. They have 8 pickleball courts and 2 tennis courts. There is also a very nice and shady playground for the kids. There's a basketball court as well. I suggest reserving courts online at the Woodlands Township website as it gets quite busy during the evenings. I don't know what time they're open, but it closes at 11PM.
