Edit: lowering rating here. Stingy owners. The court I reserved is open with then minutes until the reservation and we can’t even warmup on it. Nickel a dime you here for everything. Otherwise this is a good spot. Went with some friends on a Saturday night was popping here a lot of people. Reserve early and online. Only like $10 a person during off peak hours for an hour and a half court reserve. There’s a pro shop and snacks as well. Convenient location in design district. Plenty of parking and dinking for all pickle addicts.

Great space for pickleball with friends or to meet new ones. The teak lawn furniture and green turf gives it nice welcoming and casual feel. We liked that the music was kept low so we could hear the score and not have to yell. The solid black back wall makes a great backdrop to see the ball against with no visual noise. Friendly staff as well.

The Grove is an ideal spot to play pickleball indoors. I usually do open play at Cole Park, but we’ve opted for here to avoid long wait times and cold weather. They have two locations: Downtown and the Design District. We’ve tried both, the Design District location has 8 courts while the Downtown location only has 2 courts. Recommend a court reservation ahead of time. The surface of the courts is also optimal. I’ve played indoors on basketball courts before and always hated it. The glare of the lights, squeaking shoes, and no traction to slow down the ball made for a poor pickleball experience. None of that here, as they have “Pro-Cushion” and “CushionX” court technology. I’m not sure on the specifics, but it certainly makes for a better player experience.

This place is phenomenal! The facility is top-tier — from the cushioned courts, to the aesthetically pleasing layout, every detail has been thought through with players in mind. The attention to detail is unmatched, creating a space that’s both functional and stunning. Whether you’re a competitive player or just love the game, this is a must-visit facility. Best courts in TX!!

I came here once to play open play, but it’s really not anything like that. They just hiked up their prices too, and I would highly recommend not going to open play. It’s a nice facility with nice stuff to book a court, however, open play is 100% not worth it. They only open up 3 of their 10-12 courts for open play even if the other courts are not occupied. They say they were reserved, but they actually had no one there. Secondly, it’s not really open play because of the people that sign up are usually friends of the people that work there and they just all play together taking up one board. We were hoping to play with other people to try and get better and make it true open play. However, when I brought this up to the manager in the glasses, “he said oh those are just my friends and they play here a lot.” So it’s not truly open play. You’re better off going to other courts. It only gets the star simply for its facilities, which I have to say are nice.
