Windom Park

A pretty decent park with a fair amount of running around space, a soccer field, a basketball court, and a play structure. There's enough space to find a quiet area even if there is a lot of people there.

I'm glad there's both a play area for bigger kids and one for smaller. The equipment is nice. Just wish they had a bathroom. You can't stay too long or else just don't drink anything and be dehydrated!

Really nice and CLEAN place to take the Tribe with a really nice playground and equipment that actually functions (* side note and #publicserviceannouncement I know #imnewhere but #northmpls we and I will say WE because I CHOOSE to call the north side my community; WE HAVE GOT TO #DOBETTER AS A WHOLE! The #northside can be so much more! *end side note) It has tones of open grass areas for you to sit and relax, do yoga and meditate or read while watching the kids play and TONES of benches and picnic tables! As urban parks go, I'd give it high marks. The grass is grassy and the trees have healthy bark and green leaves. Bring something to grill, as it's a fine picnic spot! The main reason to visit is probably the playground! If you're over 20 years old, do what I do and hit the zip-line late at night to avoid the wait and not creep out the kids.
