Whitney Ranch Recreation Center

Today we celebrated a birthday here and had an absolute blast! The facilities were top-notch, with a sparkling clean pool, comfortable lounge areas, and plenty of amenities. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our party was a success. They were friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. There is a snack bar that serves hot dogs and other snacks. I also noticed they offer life jackets for the little ones to be safe. The only hiccup was the unexpected 30-minute drill that took place during our party, which momentarily disrupted the fun. However, the staff handled it professionally and got us back to celebrating in no time!

I enrolled my 7 year old son in Karate here a couple months ago and it was a great decision! The first teacher who worked with him is a 9th degree black belt. Having had no experience, my son was a bit apprehensive. The teacher was very understanding but he was also strict because he knows what it takes to make a Karate student great. My son dedicated himself and tried his best. A couple weeks ago was his first test in order to rank up to gold belt. We found out last night that he passed! Having this celebrated particular teacher and the other incredibly skilled black belts teach my son has been an awesome experience! It was a sweet victory to hear them critique my son by giving him praise for being so young and yet holding his own and doing so well. The instructors are top notch! Their lessons are worth paying an arm and a leg for, without a doubt. Yet, the classes are offered right here at Whitney Ranch Rec Center which makes them accessible for everyone. What a blessing this has been! I highly recommend Karate here! So much so, that I myself am signing up as well this January! 😊

Great place.nice indoor and outdoor pool and indoor basketball. Plenty of meeting space for groups and camps. Staff is excellent and goes out of their way to assist visitors (we were a visiting boy scout troop from Baltimore). Glad to see Henderson supporting such nice public community facilities

Top Notch Tennis & Pickle Ball Courts! Pro-Shop Tennis Pro Dean & His wife Carol is very friendly and helpful! Regardless of your level you would really enjoy tennis here! Highly Recommended!

Loved walking the mesa behind the center. Goregous views! Not a bad climb up to tbe top. Many good look out plaves with benches. Highly recommend!
