Best free tennis courts for UT students & grad students. Many courts, in pretty good condition. Also a practice wall. The back courts have slightly better wind protection. You can reserve online ahead of time at UT Rec Sports for busy hours during the semester. For non-students: $26/ month rec sports pass for current UT staff, $14/month for previous UT staff, or $45/month for visitors. You can alternatively get a day pass for $14. They also have pickle ball courts and paddles. The pickle balls for borrowing can be a little rough, but we weren't that competitive

I wish they would let students park for free instead of parking on my street and then having to cross 51st. At least allow free parking after say, 5pm. The street is often jammed with cars and the lots may be half full at best. This is inconvenient for both students and residents, and is unsafe for students crossing 51st. No crosswalk and frequent speeders. The neighborhood streets are also poorly lit, narrow, and no sidewalks. Seems like a problem with an easy solution. (another person commented it's not convenient to get a parking pass, so this may be part of the problem)

Courts need resurfacing. No shade on courts. Having to take long walk to get parking pass and then take long walk back to car and then long walk to courts again just sucks

UT courts for tennis, pickleball and basketball. The staff is nice. Parking is only for pass holders or you can go buy day parking inside at the office.

Good tennis courts, home to social tennis leagues and UT students. Better signage to the courts would be welcome.
