Westgate park

Park is reserved for residents of Eastwood. Very clean. Great amenities to include picnic tables, pickleball courts, a basketball court, a playground.

The tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts look nice. Seems odd that they didn’t bother to put a path around the park. This playground is gross, though. Ants, wasps, broken glass, wrappers are all over the sand. Equipment is in desperate need of a cleaning. The gazebo has litter unwelcoming for kids since no one comes here bc there’s a bunch of threatening signs saying “community members only!” Pretty embarrassing for the community if you ask me.

Residents and guests will be able to play pickleball here, (locked gate). Basketball, and padelball courts have been resurfaced, pickleball courts are due to re-open in January.

This is not a public park. It's a community park for subdivision residents only, and require resident ID card to unlock. Tennis courts are resident locked. Why would anyone encourage non-residents to go to this park by giving 5 star ratings? Non-residents are unwelcome, and need a resident ID card to unlock the facilities. It makes no sense to encourage non-residents to drive all the way to this park only to be challenged and unable to use anything at the park.

This is the park next to my neighborhood. It's the closest park and that's why we go there. They have a medium sized playground. Sand for the substrate. Dirty sand that needs to be replaced with something the animals don't mistake for a restroom. The basketball court is also medium. Has some pits and dips in the court but still playable. Has a couple of picnic tables under a shade structure and some benches.
