The indoor and outdoor courts are nice, and the facility is clean. However, parking is often extremely difficult because another facility shares the lot. It’s a nightmare, especially on the weekend when some events for kids are happening. Given its size, this facility really needs a lot more parking space.

WETF facilities are amazing. Unfortunately, the staff is extraordinarily unfriendly and unhelpful, and the place is mismanaged. I play tennis indoors at WETF because it's close to where I live. However, despite that, I recently had to use the restroom after playing outside. The receptionist refused to let me use the restroom because I hadn't paid for an indoor court. Second, the other day I was playing outside in the back. A young man approached me and my partner, pulled out a gun, threatened us, and shot at the ground. When my partner and I ran inside to the WETF to seek help and call the police, the receptionist and management of WETF were only concerned about whether the crime happened on "their" outdoor courts (which are locked) or the public courts. The staff didn't ask us how we were doing or whether we were ok. They were visibly annoyed that we'd taken shelter in the building. Lastly, the WETF indoor courts are almost always booked (with the exception of early afternoon). Yet, if you visit the facility, the courts that show booked are actually empty. The place is completely underutilized and stands in stark contrast to the JTCC in College Park which actually makes an effort to serve the community. WETF gets a ton of money from donors and the CITI Open. I wish someone of authority would audit the place. It could be a huge asset to the community. Instead, the place is completely unwelcoming and feels like it's main purpose is to protect employees.

There are hard courts both indoor and outdoor . The courts are good. The restroom is clean. Staff is friendly. The parking is a bit difficult to find.

From the review I read about Leah Friedman, Vice President at Washington Tennis & Education; it is a good place, and if there is anything that needs to be done with Kids " tennis players, we are ready to help and support them.
