Been doing Volo for a while and it’s always the same disappointments. Only 6 games that are never get rescheduled, games will be cancelled for very light weather conditions, probably because the worker is cold and knows they don’t have to reschedule. I had two volleyball games cancelled and the playoffs cancelled so I paid 85 for 4 rushed games….. The playoffs are never fair and typically only serve one function: get it done as fast as possible. Again, the workers can’t stand to be there and want to leave as soon as they show up. Volo is fun if you surround yourself with good people but the organization is awful and it’s sad too because these are such fixable issues that people have been noting them for years.

If you’re playing volleyball, VOTER or one of the local Parks & Rec leagues is the way to go. Volo is far more expensive, makes you download an app to keep track of games 🥴 and the logistics are just a mess. For an example, we played every week at the exact same time and then the final week of play they changed it, without sending any emails or notifications to the players. Just very poor communication, especially since the cost is SO much higher. VOTER has been a much better experience and value for money overall.

I am a new Volo annual pass member and Volo continues to charge me $10 for a third strike no show cancellation. I have been a member for no longer than a month now and have not missed a single event or have any idea why they continually charge me $10 a week for this "ghost fee". I have reached out multiple times to Volo for resolution, but they have not responded to a single email so I have had to dispute this charge weekly, and successfully, with my credit card company. I give it 2 stars because I enjoy the people I play with, but any sort of resolution through customer service is non existent as I have tried many times to reach ANYONE via phone and emails... If they respond to this email stating anything different... I have emails and screen shots to prove they're just lazy over there. Also, the crazy part about their system is that someone signing up as a drop-in will be penalized if they cancel within 6hrs, but the team captain that invited you can cancel your drop-in minutes before the game starts even if you are already there. (has happened to me multiple time where I sign up for something and the team captain cancels the request minutes before the game starts because a last second player showed up, wasting your time, gas, and effort to help the team). I like the idea behind Volo, but the execution of admin responsibilities is non existent. Proceed with caution.

Volo continues to charge my card 10 dollars a week for events I didn't sign up for. They won't answer the phone or respond to emails. They are citing that I signed up for things and canceled within 6 hrs. I've been traveling the last month and haven't even opened the app or been in the state. I signed up for a season pass, but will now be contacting my credit card company to get my season pass money back at this point. Don't do business with this company unless you want to fight with them to get back money that isn't theirs. It was fun until it wasn't with Volo.

Volo is the worst. They only have 1 dodgeball court so 40+ people are waiting around to play even though there is a whole open gym. Will never do anything with Volo again.
