To the lady who.is mad about them turning her away for being a senior, you are being VERY misleading. 1. Your "membership" is not "paid". It os reimbursable by Medicare (assuming they actually reimbursed on time). And 2. You weren't turned away because you are a senior. You were tur ed away because they likely do not participate in the program (nor are they required to). As for my experience with this location, THE STAFF IS AWESOME! Friendly, patient, and kind are all understatements. I LOVE going here. I am a new member, I am 55, and I am VERY happy with my experience here.

Great staff. Machine stay in working order. When they break they are fixed promptly. Bathrooms clean. Love love the sauna and steam room. Great classes. Nice pool

Terrible customer service. I went in last week with my brother to do an aqua class which I had confirmed by calling, was taking place. I have been to this Y before years ago for aqua classes or swim with my membership. I live in Austin, TX. This gym is an affiliate so no problems before. On this day, I was turned away as I was told by a young girl at the desk that my membership is no good because I use Silver Sneakers program. My Y membership gets paid monthly. I told the girl I had a paid membership and that they were turning me away because I am a senior? Not only was that wrong but because I came all the way from Austin and pool was not full that day, they could have been considerate and let us swim. Instead they referred us to a nearby outdoor pool facility that when we got there, was closed. Rude!! Won't be going back or referring anyone there either.

What a WONDERFUL option YMCA summer camp has been for my son in Boerne! The staff are SO wonderful and professional! My son has some health issues, but staff take very good care of him and that allows me to work through the day and not worry about him. That alone says so much. Plus I know he’s having the time of his life. These people are just awesome!! Thank you for giving my son the best summer while mama has to work :)

This YMCA has everything you need. It’s got a sauna, steam room, tennis courts. It also has all the weights and cardio equipment you’ll ever need. Pro tip come early. People know that this gym is legit so the 5-8pm rush is real. Early morning is not an issue. Also the pool is only open during the summer so if your a lap guy/lady you’ll need to drive to another YMCA that has an indoor. (Luckily Schertz does).
