Park is beautiful. Pickleball courts are perfect for our Saturday Youth Clinics when WePickle is not at Martin Park. Bathrooms were locked on a Saturday morning so be aware that restrooms may not be available.

Park is overall is nice. I went earlier today to play pickle ball and they didn’t have any nets out. The office was closed so we weren’t able to get a net. Another group pulled up and said that the nets are kept inside which is silly considering the office was locked. They had a tennis net up but they had 4 pickleball courts worth of lines on it so you couldn’t tell what was in or out. They need to make it 4 permanent pickleball courts. Plenty of tennis courts in the city.

Great family friendly park for the entire family to enjoy. They have a play area for the kiddos with swings, slides, and climbing! Basketball, tennis, baseball/soccer/softball, and football fields. Endless and priceless fun for all.

Park is great, but it could be so much better. I noticed their are no lights in the park for night play like other parks on James Island. I also noticed tracks on the court from motor bikes? Lights and a tournament play could help according to the other park goers I spoke with. Everyone was super friendly. Thanks for the park!
