James was awesome. My three friends and I took a private lesson from him and he did a great job paying attention to each of our games to give us tips and information to help us each level up our game. He kept it fun and informative. He brought an assistant and she was great too. We highly recommend his lessons.

James has helped my game immensely. Whenever I’m in Palm Desert I schedule a few lessons with him and we focus on the areas of the game I’m having trouble with. He figures out the fundamental issues and clearly explains what I need to do to resolve them. We do drills that train me in the skills needed to do that. I highly recommend James as a coach for any level player who wants to keep improving their game.

I took 4 lessons from James Ku along with 3 other players. He is an excellent coach who is knowledgeable, but still able to describe skills in an easy-to-understand manner. He reinforced Pickleball fundamentals, but also taught us new skills. I liked how he always asked what we wanted to cover in the lesson and always made time to answer our questions. I believe I will continue to benefit from these lessons as I continue to practice what he taught us.

James was very observant with the 2 of us. He’d give helpful correction and feedback on our technique and movement. And he’d explain why. He was open to what we wanted to work on. Nice personality and a skilled player. The Rancho Mirage Community Park where the lesson was held, has some well kept, clean courts.
