This community center offers more than sports with an academic cafe, YES girls program. And continuing expansion of programs including career exposure. The center is focused on local students and kids aged 3 to 18. Today our group rented the accessible center for a large meeting. Accessible venue. Van accessible parking. Accessible mens and women’s restrooms.

First time I went there I was looking for some pickleball court apparently they have pickleball but they do not have pickleball lines on the floor anywhere where you can see what is in what is out the kitchen they call it which is on both sides of the net recent pickleball player about a year and a half I started the game first time I played I knew this is going to be a lot of fun I can't stop it's too much fun for one but a whole bunch of fun for four people you got to try it I trust me you will love the game it's been around since 1965 I just found out it was here and happening in Tampa just over a year ago I play every week we were looking for another spot this place is empty and I don't understand it it's miraculous it was it is awesome it is gigantic the basketball courts are awesome felt like I was going into a professional game. If you've never been there I recommend you check this place out. Supposedly a lot of kids go there after school a lot of activities it is an incredible spot I've seen nothing like this in my time.

The Skills Center has been a huge blessing to our family and to Hoops on Mission. It’s more than just basketball, it’s a place safe place where kids grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. The travel ball program is top-tier, and the coaches truly care. They don’t just develop athletes; they invest in young leaders. We’re grateful to be connected to a program that shares our heart for purpose, faith, and community. Thank you to everyone at The Skills Center for all you do!

Today was supposed to be a food give away boxed with a purpose. When we arrived. They were so not organized on where to park. They told us to go all the way on Walter street on the other side of the building to form a line. So there was a line of cars waiting for food. The program on the flyer said that it was supposed to start at 11. We talked to a staff member that was walking by, and he said it won't start until 12 because they are behind. So in total, we sat in the line for 2 hours. And after those 2 hours, staff members came up and said that they only have oatmeal. And that they don't have boxes of food. They were really not prepared for all these people to be in line. I think it's unfair and the flyer did not give out Pacific instructions on what to do or where to go or what to bring. It just said the address, and what time is supposed to start? And what day? I was very hurt and angery by the fact that we sat there for 2 hours just for them to tell us that they didn't have no food. But oatmeal.

This is an amazing place for kids. They have leagues and skill classes. My kid is there for basketball. Great coaches. He has grown a lot and the prices are decent.
