The Player Progression Academy (PPA)

My daughter has participated in PPA hoops for 4 years, and we have had a terrific experience. She has received excellent instruction from the coaches and we have seen her steadily improve each year. They take player development seriously and give each child individual feedback on an ongoing basis. Coach Shay in the development league was approachable and friendly for beginners, helping to lay the groundwork for a love of the game. In the premier league, Coach Lindsey and Coach Raven have been absolutely stand-out coaches. Their consistent, high-quality instruction, positive energy and deep dedication to the kids makes them truly special!

Really poor experience with my son's time in PPA hoops. Coach was always late, if he showed at all. Little communication/difficult to reach anyone in charge at PPA. The entire experience felt chaotic and unorganized. Unfortunate, considering how much it costs. May have just been our team's experience but the parents were often frustrated. Don't know how coaches are selected, but ours was terrible and did no coaching during games. But he did check his phone a lot. Will not be returning, and would not recommend unless you are organizing your own team and coach. Other teams were clearly having a better experience.

Our family has had amazing experiences with PPA - both basketball and soccer! The coaches, the training, and the teamwork have all been fantastic. And my kids' coaches have done a great job of managing everything during Covid and providing fun outdoor and virtual team experiences for my kids to continue to feel connected to their teams and to get to play and practice. We love them!

My two children, a boy and a girl, have been playing with PPA soccer for the last 3+ years. We have had a great experience with the development program, premier program, and summer camps. The coaches are the strength of the PPA. They have helped my children develop as athletes and good teammates.

PPA is a really great program! The coaches are amazing! Lindsey, who coached basketball goes above and beyond. You can tell she has the best interest for the children and organization! Thank you so much Lindsey, you are appreciated!
