The facility itself is great, but the manager, Will Anderson, is completely unprofessional. I first met him during open play shortly after the grand opening. He hit a shot that landed close to our baseline, and we called it out. He became very upset and started arguing. We didn’t want any conflict and suggested replaying the point, but he refused. During the next rally, he called one of our clearly in-bounds shots “out” even though it landed in the middle of the court. It was hard to believe this behavior was coming from an adult, let alone the manager of the facility. That wasn’t the only incident. When we were leading in the score, he became visibly emotional, slammed his paddle into the net, and said, “That’s just how I am.” If this behavior came from a random player, it would still be disappointing. But coming from the manager, it is unacceptable. A manager should represent the facility with professionalism and respect. After that open play session, he began targeting me personally. He removed me from open play, claiming my DUPR rating wasn’t high enough—even though I regularly win games there. He said it was court policy to enforce a DUPR limit, yet he allowed other players with lower ratings (or no DUPR at all) to participate. The open play follows a move-up/move-down format, but he doesn’t follow the system himself. He acts as if he can do whatever he wants without accountability. I was a founding member of this facility and have hosted community tournaments here. Our community has grown significantly, and we are planning larger events involving players from Dallas and San Antonio. Unfortunately, as long as this manager remains in charge, we will not consider this location for any future events.

Just finished my second lesson with Coach Emi this morning, and I can confidently say she is hands-down the best coach you could ask for! Emi has an incredible way of making you feel comfortable on the court while still challenging you to improve with every session. Her instruction is clear, encouraging, and tailored to your skill level. She breaks things down in a way that makes it easy to understand and apply right away, whether it’s footwork, positioning, or strategy. Plus, her passion for the game is infectious!! I’ve done several of her clinics, but after just two 1-1 lessons, I already feel more confident and excited to keep learning. If you’re thinking about taking up pickleball or want to sharpen your skills, do yourself a favor and sign up for lessons with Coach Emi. She’s a total game changer, both as a coach and a person. Highly, highly recommend her. Absolutely the Best Pickleball Coach – Coach Emi🤩 Follow her on Instagram: @pickleballemilse

Me and my wife have joined this Picklr after a 30 dollar for 30 day demo. We absolutely love the indoor courts and the community we have met. The online app is easy to use and there are plenty of courts that allow for all levels of play to enjoy. One thing I would love to see is more Paddle companies represented in the club as key brands like Selkirk and Honolulu Pickleball Company as well as Gearbox are missing.

There is no 4.0+ level open play available during the evenings or weekends. The only option during that time is 3.8+ level play. However, players rated 3.0 are still being allowed to sign up for 3.8+ sessions, which affects the overall level of play. Compared to Round Rock Picklr, the open play here is not as well managed. There needs to be better enforcement of appropriate skill levels for both open play and clinics. Currently, lower-rated players are being permitted to register for advanced clinics, which diminishes the quality of those sessions. Clinics at Round Rock Picklr are notably better in this regard. Aside from that, everything else has been good overall.
