The Pickleball Club at Lakewood Ranch

Just stopped by today to check out the pickleball club and hear about pricing and everything they offer, and I was really surprised in the best way. I met Emily at a wellness event at UTC and heard such great things, so I wanted to see it for myself. Plus, I had no idea it was only 5 minutes from my house which is a huge bonus. They have 8 courts, a wellness room, basketball court, covered outdoor courts, a bar, and an event space which is super cool for parties or just hanging out. Emily and Brenda at the front desk were AMAZING. Super friendly, helpful, and really knowledgeable. I honestly enjoyed talking with them. I’d love to see more events for 20–30 year olds like singles nights, ladies pickleball + brunch, and tournaments. Overall, really impressed and excited about this place!

The Pickleball Club is absolutely top-notch! The courts are pristine, the facilities are spotless, and the staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, whether you’re brand new to the game or a seasoned player. It’s the perfect place to learn, play, and make friends. I can’t recommend it enough!

While the club itself is very nice, the manager can be abrasive and intimidating. While a manager should insure a safe and welcoming environment, he will ask you to leave "his" club if questioned, he appears to abuse his authority at times.

This is a beautiful facility. I had a nice tour. However, the price structure is significant, and the policy to bring visitors is quite restrictive. Also, I found the courts to be lacking in peripheral space. It seems an ambitious project, and I know they have plans to build future sites around the state. I wish them success, but at their current prices and policies, and the tight playing quarters, I’m going to have to wait for other facilities to open up in Southwest Florida.

We are visiting from out of town. Gave this club a call to play indoors in the FL heat. Emily assisted us with our initial need. Professional and courteous. Once we got there, we were greeted and Stephanie, one of the owners, showed us around. Beautiful facility. 8 courts, 2 to be turned into championship courts. They have restrooms, showers, lounge area, wellness room and ping pong table, and so much more. They are extending to add, volleyball and basketball courts also! Very professional and wonderful place to play. They are welcoming and treat you like family. This is their passion. We had a great time playing in the 4.0+ group with some great players! Thank you.
