The City of North Charleston Athletic Center

We were here for a regional gymnastics meet. Had a good experience. Parking is kind of a mess though. The government offices next door did NOT take too kindly to all the gymnastics traffic and parking. Hopefully this is just a temporary issue while they work on the parking lot. Great location though. Conveniently centered in the city and right off of I-26.

I’m a local native and my first time visiting this facility. Came here in an invitation from my friend from out of town with his son’s basketball team playing in a tournament this weekend. The facility is very beautiful once inside. I gave it a 4-star because the parking lot is pathetic… it’s not paved it’s dirt, rock and all bumpy. No organization whatsoever. What’s up with this City of North Charleston?

The complex is nice as I have been several times. The gyms are in close proximity to each other, so not a lot walking during transition. I do wish more restaurants selections were close by.

Horrible staff and very entitled and rude!!! The old black lady and the black supervisor are extremely rude and lazy. My daughter‘s band fell off of her and we had it in hand and they would not let her re-enter even though other staff members verified that we had been there all day and my husband Coached there all day. These people need to be stopped because they’re ruining the facility!!! Hire good honest people!!! That want to do their job. I told her to check the cameras we paid when we came in and she was too lazy to do. She was sitting there with a blanket and would not do anything except for run her mouth!!!
