Terri Day Park is one of my favorite recent additions to the Boise Parks & Rec system. It’s a beautifully maintained park—seems only a couple of years old—with something for everyone. The pickleball courts are top-notch, and the playground is truly impressive, featuring a unique climbing structure and what looks like a 100–150-foot zip line that kids were loving. There’s a peaceful pond with ducks and geese that add to the park’s charm, and the grassy areas are lush and green, with plenty of mature trees offering shade. A well-kept walking path winds through the park, and I even spotted a few bird boxes—great for local wildlife. We visited in the late afternoon, and a light rainstorm passed through while we were there. It rustled the trees and shimmered on the pond, making the whole place feel calm and refreshing. Overall, I’m really impressed with Terri Day Park. It’s perfect for a family picnic, a quick game of pickleball, or just letting the kids burn off some energy. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I know there must be a one or lake here some place by some of goose and duck poop here, I will find it. This was my first one of the morning at approx 6:30 as I want to start early before people start showing up. They have very nice tennis courts and a playground for the younger generation that even has a small zip line type of ride they can use. I FINALLY found the large pond and yes there were the geese and ducks because they have their babies and they must stay in this area till the babies are able to get on their own.

This is a medium-sized playground that seems well-maintained, but its biggest unique feature is a zipline with a seat that every kid seems to LOVE. It has swings, shaded picnic tables, slides and other typically playground equipment, tennis courts, restrooms, and large grassy areas. The only negative to this playground is that it sits relatively close to the very busy Federal Way, but as long as you keep an eye on them, it's not a problem. It's still relatively quiet.

Cannot believe we found a park with a functioning zip line! The kids absolutely loved it. Ages 3-6 had no issues using all of the equipment. Shaded areas to eat and a large field to play in.

Terry Day Park ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the things I love about living in Boise is how much green space we have. The number of parks that we have never ceases to amaze me. Each one has their own distinct personality. These photos were taken on 6/2/23, when I stumbled upon this park while out running an errand. It’s one I had always meant to visit, but hadn’t.. I wasn’t able to go all the way back into the park because it was getting close to closing time. Enjoy!
