Horrible experience. Last year the Nike camp was hosted by Butler University and we loved it. This year it was hosted by Coach Witsken and it was horrible. I can go into many details but I’ll just say the camp was not organized, kids from different camps were being mixed in together. Coach Witsken is yelling at the kids, does not want parents up there watching what is going on, is not focusing on developing the players and is very entitled. I’ve had my kid attend multiple tennis camps and this is the first one I was told that I could not stand outside and watch, told me I could watch from my truck and then told me that it was not good for me to talk to my daughter while she was on the court. I explained to him that it was not his place to say how my daughter felt about me talking to her after only seeing her for 2 days, my daughter is 9 and we train together so she is used to hearing my voice and needs to be reminded of the proper way to play the game. They are not instructing her so I was giving her little tips where only her and I could hear. Coach Witsken is running this camp like its his camp, not a Nike camp, he only wants kids that are dropped off and no parents there so he can control the entire situation. We left the camp today and while on the way home I explained to my daughter what happened and she told me she did not like the camp because the coach was mean and was yelling at the kids. She was scared to tell me because she thought I wanted her to be in the camp. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS CAMP AND OF COACH WITSKEN, he makes it all about himself not the kids and is disrespectful to the parents. He should not have made personal statements about a parents child. He should stock to what the camp policies are but he thinks he can do whatever he wants. I will never put my kid in anything ran by him and advise you not to either. Its not for serious players. I have reported this to Nike as well.

Small place and very hard to get on the schedule you already know what that means :) Coaches here are extremely well renowned and respected.
