I've never visited the park outside of using the restroom. I've always found the park in good working order and the restrooms are well stocked. There does seem to be a seedy element here, but I've never personally encountered any issues here. There is a large collection of homeless tents and camps in the vegetation to the East between the river bed and the park.

God knows I would visit this park during my lunch break while attending school to get away from the crowd and take time to reconnect with the birds and nature. I could see the mountains, a clear sky above, and hear the calming sounds of bird songs that set me free. The park is located next to the YMCA, a skate park, and a long-term residential home. I even found a rare sunflower growing in between 2 concrete barriers. God bless the natural elements in nature that grow to thrive and all those individuals who choose to take care of, take time to notice, and with awareness to advocate to protect.

Abuts a large homeless encampment. Run down, but does offer amenities expected of any park. Tennis courts, baseball field, skatepark. No dog park! Lots of signs warning of what will happen if you don't clean up after your dog or let it off leash. I did see poop everywhere, though, and no bags were provided. Talked to a couple other dog walkers and they were all friendly, though. Don't go out of your way to visit if you're a dog owner, but the skatepark looked cool.

The picture is not apart of this park. We came expecting what's in this photo, but that is only for the YMCA. The picture I added is this park. The picture Google gas is misleading to people seeking a play ground. I and my 4yr old walked up toward the playground because the gate door was wide open and a lady(said works at the YMCA) closes the gate that was wide open said to us we can't use the playground because it was not apart of the park. Then when we walked away too get into the car she opened the gate door again. I'd put a 1star rating on that YMCA just for her snobbiness.

I visite exclusevely the tennis courts. There are 4 proffesional size w enclosure in good conditions. There area no shades except in the mirning by a big tree. Hard floor. Restrroms are about 100 yards far from there at the entrance of the park.
