Squibb Park – Review ✅ Pros: - Great Views: Offers beautiful views of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline. - Connector Path: Links to Brooklyn Bridge Park via a pedestrian bridge (Squibb Bridge), making it a scenic access point. - Peaceful Spot: Less crowded than nearby parks, ideal for a quiet break or quick walk. ⚠️ Cons: - Small Space: Not a large park—more of a scenic overlook than a destination for recreation. - Limited Amenities: No playground, restrooms, or food vendors on-site

Because Google Maps routed me to this park and bridge incorrectly (to the other side of the park, onto a highway where it’s impossible to enter), I decided to leave a tip for those visiting for the first time.

1. Bridge Access - The Squibb Park Bridge is a pedestrian bridge linking Brooklyn Heights to Pier 1 of Brooklyn Bridge Park - Great shortcut with scenic views of Manhattan and the East River 2. Quiet Urban Green Space - A peaceful place to sit, relax, or take in the view - Few benches and greenery make it ideal for short visits 3. Family-Friendly - Close to playgrounds and open areas in Brooklyn Bridge Park - Nearby access to Jane’s Carousel and picnic spots

Used be a nice quiet park near the water, alas recently have been struck by a geriatric tennis infestation😆.

Came for the pickleball courts which have no nets, lines are coming off, no bounding fence to keep balls from rolling all the way to New Jersey, and the surface is cracked/uneven
