Shipe Neighborhood Park

Nice park off of 45th street. The swimming pool appears recently renovated and ideal for families with young kids. The playgrounds have partial shade and also appear to be in good condition. There's a full court basketball court and two tennis courts separated by a fence

Love Shipe Park. Recently refinished tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball court and pool is very nice. Playground for small kids along with a nice grass area to throw a Frisbee or kick the ball around.

The Shipe Park is great! It’s got tennis, basketball and more. The best part is easily the Elizabeth Net museum. You have to pop in and check out the home “Formosa” of the esteemed artist. Her statues are even in the capital building. We learned a lot about her life and work.

Nice park but the City of Austin need to give more of a priority to the upkeep of the park system. The grass was at least a foot tall. This is to be expected though as they have really slashed the budget for the park system. Let's increase the frequency of maintenance on all the parks not just Zilker.
