We enjoyed a great charity event at the event center. I am especially proud that the Jewish Community Center (JCC) preserved the historical Fort Homer J. Hesterly Armory building for this part of the JCC. The beautiful decor is minimalist blue with entry check in area, wide open cocktail area, and large venue with stage and great acoustics. The event space is accessible with moderate weight door, accessible throughout. The member space includes 2 heated pools, gym, exercise rooms with great equipment and a robust class schedule. The JCC offers many lectures, groups for seniors, youth, young adults, and a cafe onsite. Accessible parking is free in large lot only for members and patrons. Accessible mens and womens restrooms with dedicated stall that has 2 grab bars and adequate space.

Great space for an event. There was ample space for check-in tables, a bar area for cocktail hour, and a nice banquet room with a stage. Food was good, including vegetarian options.

Harry Potter Themed Mitzvah at JCC Bryan Glazer: A Magical Event Brought to Life! 📸 The JCC Bryan Glazer Jewish Community Center in Tampa was the perfect venue for a Harry Potter-themed mitzvah, complete with magical details that made guests feel like they had stepped into the world of Hogwarts. With the creative touch of ESG Design, the event was a dream come true for any fan of the Wizarding World, and EVNT Photobooth Co. added a layer of enchantment with our Studio Green Screen Photobooth. Guests were able to pose in front of five custom Hogwarts-themed backgrounds, instantly transported to iconic Harry Potter locations. Our photobooth experience became a major hit, providing unlimited custom prints and digital GIFs for everyone to enjoy! Our Green Screen Photobooth didn’t just take photos — it immersed guests in the Harry Potter universe. This is such a wonderful gym. It’s so clean, well-equipped, and family-friendly. I also really appreciate that in addition to the permanent police presence, there are no fewer than 4 badge checkpoints between the front gate and the fitness spaces (reassuring for early AM/late evening workouts). The staff are all very friendly, and the J-Care team does a wonderful job looking after my baby while I work out. Literally the only other thing I might like to see is childcare between 12 and 4 - maybe a prepaid reservation system? I’ve tried several gyms and am thrilled to finally find the right fit for myself and my family. We look forward to coming again and again.
