Schiller Park

I liked Schiller park a lot! There’s so much greenery and the pond with artwork installed around is so beautiful! There are so many geese near the pond. The park wasn’t very crowded when I visited. They have lots of seating area in the park. There were a few monuments in the park too. The theater in the park really stood out to me! I wish I could have seen the Shakespeare play at the theatre. In terms of artwork, the umbrella girl statue was so beautiful!

One of my favorite parks in the city. It’s great for people watching and enjoying the many dogs our residents have. I always make a new friend when I’m here. The squirrels let people get awfully close too! Mind the north center of the park when it’s heavily rained as it will flood!

The combination of excellent facilities, beautiful natural features, and strong community programming makes it a true asset to German Village. Perfect for: Daily dog walking, morning exercise, family recreation, community events, pickleball/tennis enthusiasts Would I recommend? Absolutely! This is a model for how urban parks should be maintained and programmed.

Not a bad lil city park. It's typically always crowded but that's expected due to It's location.
