Great little rec center. It's one of the older ones if that doesn't work for you there's newer more modern ones . I'm old so it works for me. Nice people. Great view of the Berkeley lake. Just so you know they close at 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday so take note.

Location, location, location. This little gem is located in the Berkeley Lake Park. There is a dog park right next to it, tennis courts, a lake, even a library! The rec center itself boasts an indoor and outdoor pool, a basketball court, a dance studio, etc, but my favorite is the weight room. Sure, there is mostly one of every machine, but that is enough when there are only a handful of people there. Then again, I did go in the early afternoon, so that was part of it. Either way, they have all you need for a great workout!

The indoor pool flags are in the wrong spot. They are too close to the T so it makes it impossible to do backstroke. Has the potential to be a great pool if the flags are in the right spot. I was doing backstroke and broke my nail on the wall

Typical city rec center. Right on the property of a really nice park. There’s also a dog park right next to it, and also tennis courts a little further away. The park has a really nice lake that you can walk around, I believe it’s around .7 miles, but I’m not positive about that. There’s a decent amount of riffraff here as you will find with most denver parks

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this rec center deserves it. The staff here are extremely rude and short-tempered. When we called ahead to ask about pool hours, the woman on the phone literally said, “Duh, we’re a rec center—we’re open.” Super unprofessional and when walked in she got so mad that our names weren’t in system another lady took over for her what a joke. When we showed up around 11 AM, we were told we couldn’t swim until 1 PM inside, and the outside pool didn’t open until 5 PM. Nowhere was this clearly posted, and we were totally misled. To top it off, when we tried to go back to the car to grab something, we were told there was no reentry. Seriously? It’s a rec center, not an airport. Definitely not worth the hassle—don’t waste your time here.
