⭐ 1 Star – Only because zero isn’t an option We were thrilled to check out Sahm Golf Course… until our 5-year-old prodigy was turned away like he’d asked to drive the cart solo. This isn’t your average toddler with plastic clubs — this kid has played The Fort, Indiana University’s Pfau Course, and Purgatory, and guess what? Those top-tier courses welcomed him with open arms and free rounds, practically begging him to return. He’s not just swinging wildly at dandelions — he takes lessons with Brad Feller at Elevation Golf in Carmel. He has a better backswing than half the men on the tee sheet. The only hazard he poses is to egos. Yet somehow, Sahm decided he wasn’t “old enough” to play. Not skilled enough? Please. The divots he fixes are deeper than their policy. To the powers at Sahm: you just benched a future Masters champ. Hope that felt good. Meanwhile, we’ll be teeing off at places that recognize talent when they see it. 🏌️♂️⛳ #LetHimPlay #SahmWhiffed #ProdigyProblems

This is a 66 acre park, filled with many attractions. Soccer fields. Basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts. A disc golf course. Lots of trees and paths. Without over-hyping it as spectacular, the playground area is probably the nicest I've seen in the Indy area. If it wasn't closed, the water park might be nearly as impressive as those in major amusement parks. But this "Sahm Family Aquatic Center" *is* closed (in December 2022); and it seems to have been closed for quite some time (at least as far back as into the Summer of 2022; and if I understand correctly, even much longer than that.)

This park is not well maintained. The fences and sidewalks have weeds and grass growing all around it. The swim park is CLOSED, looks as if it hasn’t been open for years. The grass and weeds are growing wild in the swim park area. The corporate pavilion is not worth $275. The windows and doors are have wood boards on it. It hasn’t been maintained or painted in years. The grass is basically dirt and weeds. The only place that looks nice is the golf course. Please drive by before you pay for a pavilion!

Great place to take kids to swim! Pool and seating areas were clean and spacious. Even when a summer camp arrived we still didn’t feel overly crowded. My 8 year old loved the water slides. The bathrooms were dirty and one had a massive whole through the wall which was odd. Smaller kids water slide was closed when we visited but 2 larger slides were open! We will visit again!

Lots of pool space, the water was cool, clear, and refreshing, the two slides were fun. I've gone here since I was young, so it's nice knowing it's still as fun, safe, and clean as it was then. Also, a very affordable summer spot for parents of younger (or older) children!
