Riverside Park Pickleball has 5 public courts. These are dedicated to pickleball with permanent nets, permanent lines. Open Play from sunrise to sunset. Beautiful view of the Hudson River. Levels of play range from beginners to advanced (mostly Intermediate Players). There are shade provided by tall trees. There are three picnic tables for public use. The pickleball community holds pot luck breakfast/lunches and other events throughout the year. There is a bike rack to secure your bicycles and scooters. These courts are getting more popular everyday. On average There are anywhere from 20 players to 60 players waiting in the queue to play. It is 4-OFF and4-ON. The wait ranges from 5-10minute to 30-40minute on weekends. Great Vibes.

I am glad the city added these courts, but it can be improved. We need more of tgem because it gets very crowded on weekends. Fencing should be added to stop the ball from going into other areas of the park. The surface can be improved.

Amazing courts! People are very respectful and nice. Everything works well and the only concern is, you have to keep a close look on your rackets because my racket got mixed up with someone else's I guess. Either way, it's been a great experience and all the people I met here were very polite, helpful and nice. Best pickleball courts in all of Manhattan!

5 nice public courts. One has a pole just off the back court but well covered with protective padding. There’s a little bit of navigating to get to it from the 1 line on 110th Street with a few sets of stairs to get down. People there were really friendly and the games were good fun hence 5 stars. 🏓💪

These are great courts on the lower level of Riverside Park. Enter at 108th st on Riverside Drive and go to the lower level. 5 regulation size courts that are kept in great condition. Bring a cap as sun is an issue but other than that, really nice people and a great free place to have fun. Highly recommend. 97th street in Central Park is also great but cracks are a big problem. It is being addressed and these will be fixed. Once they are it leaves 2 amazing places to play on the UWS.
