Really enjoyed the atmosphere and view of downtown. Service was friendly, but the time from ordering drinks to receiving them was VERY slow every time. Food was delivered in a much more timely fashion. Wish beer and cocktails were served in glasses not plastic cups - maybe have glass inside and plastic outside? All of us enjoyed our food and will be back to try more items on the menu. You have to be careful to only attend happy hour on days you like what they’re offering - I really wish more variety was available each day because we don’t drink things offered some of the days. Parking free and plentiful.

Went to listen to the live music! Sat outside and just retrieved our own drinks, so no service rating there. It was a lovely night and the atmosphere was great! Will definitely be back next time I'm in town 😊

This place doesn’t just show you downtown—it practically struts it across a runway, framed by sprawling outdoor seating and a giant screen perfect for movie nights or screaming at the game. The vibe is like an elevated sports bar that went to finishing school but still knows how to play cornhole and giant Connect Four without spilling its drink. Pergolas give you shade, the lawn gives you space, and the cocktails? Let’s just say they disappear faster than the Astros’ lead in the 9th inning. Delicious bites, killer drinks, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay way past “just one round.” River House isn’t just a hangout—it’s Houston’s front-row seat to fun.

Riverhouse is truly a great place with one of the best views in the city. Overlooking the Houston skyline, the scenery is amazing— especially in the sunset. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing evening out.The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was friendly and attentive
