Richmond Playground Park

They just finished remodeling this playground and it now looks SO AMAZING AND FUN. There's a sand pit! Brand new restrooms! A giant climbable bear! Ignore all the old reviews, this playground is one of the best in the city now.

Suuuuuper sweet local playground great for toddlers and anyone who wants to shoot some hoops. It has been recently renovated including a very fun large bear that kids can climb in and slide down

Lots of recreation options for such a small neighborhood park. There's a sign advisory for construction starting Nov 2023.

They seriously need to change this kids area. It's just a giant sandbox at this point because they removed the play equipment and put in some log stumps. Now neighborhood dogs use it as a toilet because no one pays attention to the 'no dogs' signs. So I really hate bringing my kids here even though I live around the corner. You're better off at Mountain Lake or Rochambeau unless you just want to play basketball or have your kids ride their bike or scoot on the basketball courts. Clean bathrooms though.

There is a tennis court, a basketball court, and a sandy place for kids to play. Very popular with the stroller set - they really cry when they have to go home. In the summer there can be a line of cars waiting to pick kids up. I think a bike riding group for older kids meets here. One of my friends said there were Pokémon there too, but I cannot verify this statement. Our 3 year old neighbor loves this place.
