Players Courtyard Pickleball Club

My girlfriend and I visited Players Courtyard Club this past Friday. We met one of the Directors Anthony Ventura. Anthony hospitality is amazing, very professional, and cares about all the players. The facility courts are very smooth, the A.C is always on, and the lighting is great. Also, there are gates and nets to divide the courts separately. Furthermore, there is space in the middle to stretch, and warm up. All the members are very friendly, and competitive. There is also a challenge court to play against more high level skilled players. Overall, my girlfriend and I experience at Players Courtyard was amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable, the atmosphere is fun, and the games are competitive! I highly recommend checking out this Pickleball Club. It is worth the drive!

I love this place! I signed up for one of their introductory sessions for beginners on a whim and have been hooked ever since! Everyone who works here is super friendly, welcoming & more than willing to help you learn the game & improve. Anthony, the owner, will take the time to help everyone understand the rules, feel comfortable & refine their skills. Everyone I’ve played with here has been very friendly as well. The facilities are beautiful, clean & climate controlled. I have participated in leagues, open play & taken a lesson and have had a great experience with all of them. Highly recommend checking this place out!

What a great place to start your pickleball journey! I started a few months ago and have been welcomed by all and have learned so much! Anthony is always friendly and welcoming and will provide you whatever you need to be successful for whatever level of pickleball you are at! I highly recommend coming here! Always a court available to play on and lots of options to sign up for.

Players Courtyard is 100% pickleball, with nothing else distracting from the experience. You can play all levels at convenient times day and evening. Just recently the owner (Anthony) launched a series of beginner classes and leagues that cater to very new players as they learn and progress in the sport. This is unique to the area and a great benefit for slower/older/newer players that can feel overwhelmed at other more "haughty" locations. There are even beginner level leagues with on-court coaching and encouragement that let new players experience competitive play with others close to their level. If you are a more experienced intermediate level player (like me) there are many open play options and leagues, both internal to Players Courtyard and with external organizations like Honco Pickleball and local competitive clubs. If you are an advanced player, there are designated courts that have a little more space to handle those crazy Anna Leigh Waters type slams. I love that the courts surround an open central area that allows me to see everything that is going on, especially when one of the coaches is teaching court tactics (Thanks Dan!). It is really fun to be a spectator and watch extremely high level play on court 1 after playing a few hours down on court 13. Throughout the week there are many coaching opportunities to develop your game under expert supervision. Coaching is offered in large groups so that you can play competitively, and in smaller groups like 3+instructor to really get personal coaching for weak areas of your game. Players Courtyard also has a separate small area which I can rent hourly to practice individually with my wife. We hit backhand drives to each other until our arms were ready to fall off. Because this area is more private, we did not have to yell at each other to be heard, and weren't bothered by spectators when we were trying something new and making lots of mistakes :) If you are new to the game, an intermediate player trying to get better, or an advanced player looking for a league or club, Player's Courtyard is really the place to go.

I decided to start playing pickleball while staying in NJ for a couple of months and I found Players Courtyard. It was a bit more than just a place to learn the sport. I found a bunch of sweet people that made me feel welcome and I had fun while learning. The place was very professional and the courts were in great shape. Anthony made the signing process a breeze and he accommodated to my situation so that I can book and play as much as I was able. Thank you all !!
