Pickwell Park is a good place to exercise be it walking, riding your bike, running or jogging the trail. It has public restrooms. You can play sports on the courts or in the field and the kiddos can play as well. It’s a nice place to just chill, write, and reflect, etc. It’s always peaceful when I’m here. The park is closed from 11PM - 5AM. Alcohol is not allowed. Glass containers are not allowed. And make sure you clean up after your pets and keep them on their leashes!

Good for walking and jogging would be 5 if there wasn't always 1 vagrant sleeping on the kids play area it makes me feel unsafe when I notice it's only me and him around noon so I tend to just leave to be safe.

Our family loved coming to this little park in our neighborhood. It has 2 basketball courts, one in the caged area with a racquet ball net, nice park for kids to play with picnic tables. Cute garden and a baseball field with paved path around it for walking or skating. It stays pretty busy, my only complaint is it is a prime area for people to hang out while strung out which is why we don't use the restrooms. Last time I was here, this guy stood in the bathroom doorway and stared at me playing basketball for a good 10 minutes before I got a weird vibe and left. Usually no one bothers us but it's enough for us to leave the park multiple times so thats annoying.

This park is huge with a mile track. Plenty of adults come to walk the track and the playground has a nice variety of slides for young and older kids. I don't like that there is no canopy to cover the playground which leaves you and the kids exposed to extreme sun. Other than that, the park is nice and located in a comfortable area.

Take my Grandson here after school. He loves all the slides and ladders. Just learning how to go across the monkey bars...shocked when I seen him try for the first time. Padded landing surface makes falls hurt less. After school is lots of fun for kids and adults....circle track to walk around, basketball court, exercise equipment for workout.
