Pickles and Play - Chapel Hill

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and your team for helping make our event at Pickles and Play such a success! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue—the energy, the atmosphere, and the experience were exactly what we were hoping for. I especially want to recognize Miko for her incredible support. She was so accommodating and responsive throughout the planning process, and her enthusiasm truly shined on event day. Our team and guests really appreciated her positive energy and how easy she made everything feel. We’ve already heard several positive comments from our attendees and sponsors about how fun and engaging the event was. In fact, one of my coworkers has already reached out about planning an event for his team at Pickles and Play after seeing how well ours went! We’ll absolutely be back next year—if you’ll have us! So much fun playing here! We had a birthday party with Nathan who taught everyone (elementary-aged to adults) how to play. Now we're hooked. The staff and other members are welcoming, it's great to not worry about the weather, and the courts feel much better on joints and feet than other playing surfaces. Highly recommend!

My husband and I are regulars at P&P in Chapel Hill, hitting the courts almost daily, and we love it! The staff is super friendly and always has our backs, making every visit a blast. The place is spotless and well-kept, which makes playing here such a joy. 🧹 I’ve been a member since day one, diving into Nate’s awesome leagues, lessons, and clinics. Open play is a great vibe too! I’ve met so many cool people, and knowing I can play anytime without worrying about the weather is a game-changer. Whether you’re a newbie or a pro, this spot’s a gem for pickleball lovers. Highly recommend swinging by!

BIG FAN of this location. It’s so much better than pin point in my opinion mainly because of the spacing of the courts. The distance between the fences and the courts is much bigger than the courts at pin point which is huge so that you don’t have to compromise your style of play. I came here for a DUPR waterfall event and it was pretty well run. It was much better than how Lifetime Cary and Raleigh run theirs, so I was very impressed. Although there were some issues with the scores being entered incorrectly and having to do a little bit of back and forth emailing to get that fixed. For reference, I usually play at the lifetime at penn1 in NYC and they log the games into DUPR within an hour of the session ending and it’s accurate 99% of the time. In the future someone should check to make sure all the scores are accurate after the sessions and hopefully they can enter them faster. I also wish they had more DUPR sessions. Not sure how else people can increase their ratings aside from playing in tournaments

This location is fantastic, excellent facilities with 7 courts and 2 ball machines . Great cross section of members for all levels of skill. It’s my goto Pickleball place.
