Pickleball IQ

On December 20th and 21st, I attended a two day camp called Pickleball IQ and Pro Matt Ouano, founder of Pickleball IQ and Pro Salim took us through five phases to set the tone to improve our game. Admittedly, it was a lot of information to digest in two days but I took away some key points in those two days that exceeded what I learned in the numerous lessons and drills I had taken prior to attending Pickleball IQ. I would also note to anyone considering attending Matt's camp that you do not have to worry about remembering everything because Matt has your back, including the opportunity to download the notes from the camp. I certainly wish Pickleball IQ was around three years ago. I spent so much time and money on lessons that never covered what I learned in Pickleball IQ and I would highly recommend his camp no matter if you are just beginning to play pickleball or an advanced player.

Fantastic experience! Up to this point my main focus in games was to get the ball back and that's about it. Matt and the Pickleball IQ camp gave me a framework for strategy and using each shot for a logical and effective purpose. Once we went through the framework, drills and started games, I saw the court differently. It made sense why I would be in certain situations and how to turn that into an advantage for me and what to do to get each point to an advantage. I'm looking forward to more lessons and another camp! Highly recommend Matt and Pickleball IQ.

I attended this two-day Pickleball Camp and it exceeded my expectations. The camp covered everything from A to Z, with a strong focus on strategy and Pickleball IQ—not just hitting shots, but understanding why and when to hit them. I gained a much deeper understanding of dinking, court zones, shot placement, targets, movement, and how to shift and work seamlessly with my partner. The small, exclusive setting with a four-to-one player-to-pro ratio made the experience incredibly valuable, allowing for personalized feedback and high-level instruction you don’t get in typical clinics. I left with more confidence, smarter decision-making, and a noticeably stronger, more strategic game. Highly recommend this camp to anyone serious about elevating their pickleball plaY
