Pickleball Courts at Hogan Park

The Pickleball Courts at Hogan Park in Bountiful feature 6 free-to-use courts that are in good condition. The area is nicely fenced with a metal enclosure, and wind is rarely an issue, making it a comfortable place to play. While the courts do have artificial lighting, it's not the best, so visibility can be a bit challenging in the evening. Still, it's a solid option for casual and recreational games in a convenient location.

I didn’t play pickleball that day, but the courts were in great shape and well-maintained. While I was there, I saw people playing pickleball. Many of my friends enjoy playing there as well, and I agree – they are very nice courts.

The courts are pretty new but were designed with no center walk, so you have to cross through other courts while people are playing and there are no benches to sit for rotating player waiting to play. Other courts I've played on have first-come-first-served paddle racks used to rotate players after every game, giving everyone equal playing time and the chance to play with various players. The Woods Cross courts neither encourage nor advocate this rotation method so it's hard to just go and play unless you line up your own players.

I've never played before. I showed up to take a look at things and get information. A person was super helpful and let me play a game. So, the courts are very nice and clean. Hopefully the nice people also stay.

Solid competition and a base ball diamond, nothing more American than that.
