Pickleball Charlotte - Balantyne

Great indoor and outdoor facility to play pickleball. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a little bodega / shop that you can buy balls and drinks and even rackets. I like that they let you borrow the rackets before you buy them. Six outdoor courts. Great way to get fresh air and sunshine. The app is also user friendly and makes checking in easy!

Fernando and James at Pickleball Charlotte were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to help me with my membership needs and made the entire process incredibly smooth and easy from start to finish. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to walk me through everything removed any friction and made me feel truly welcomed. I’ve been playing here for about 6 months and I’ve had a wonderful experience. Most recently a friend of mine joined but was having difficulting getting rated (tough schedule for working mothers) and Fernando and James were super nice and helpful and took the time needed to get her enrolled. I can’t day enough good things about them!

Huge shoutout to Edward Perez! I was a bit confused about how the player rating system worked, but Edward took the time to explain everything with total transparency. It’s rare to find someone who cares this much about making sure everyone is placed correctly for the best game experience. Beyond the logistics, Edward is a huge part of why the culture here is so great. He’s making sure we aren't just playing random games, but actually building a community where people can improve and have fun at the right level. If you’re looking for a club that actually knows how to organize the sport, this is it. Thanks for all the help, Edward!

I've been going here since I took my beginner's class with Darrell and have loved PBC! Darrell is such a sweet, personable, and patient instructor. I enjoyed learning from him when I first started playing pickleball. I still go here for open plays and love the environment and everyone is super friendly.
