Elemantry school near this park. I went to this school when I was little girl. I enjoy it when I visit it.

Playground needs a new upgrade. Needs a roof of some sort for the summer. Homeless hanging around the park looking thru trash for food. Needs fountain water drinks.

This and all other southside parks can be better if the city would install over the playground equipment and play areas. Currently, there is no shade in these areas, which can make it extremely uncomfortable for children to play during the day. The sun can be very intense in San Antonio, and it's not safe for kids to be exposed to those conditions for long periods of time. In addition, the lack of shade makes it difficult for parents to supervise their children effectively. When the sun is beating down, it's hard to see clearly, and it can be easy for children to wander off unnoticed. Shades would help to create a safer and more comfortable environment for everyone.
