I joined for my son who is a high school tennis player and the facility is very clean, and the staff is super friendly. Junior membership rates are fair, and they are very low pressure about joining (compared to Genesis, which we found terribly pushy and just trying to get you to join). One thing to note, membership doesn't get you free court time. This is somewhat disappointing especially when there are times when the court is literally empty. Paying $30/hr plus to use a court for members feels steep. We joined mainly to get a reduced rates for private lessons, which if you have multiple per month, make the membership more favorable. Nice place though and recommend versus others in the neighborhood.

Cannot say enough about OP/KCUT! My daughter started playing tennis right before her freshman year in HS at a local club. Those coaches initially were fine, but because she was new to the sport, most did not want to invest in her. It was recommended by a HS coach we move to OP. There, Elliott saw my kiddo's drive and athletic ability. He looked beyond her lack of 'proper technique' and taught her how to strategize using HER SKILLS to compete on the court. The technical skills came later with hardwork, lessons and academies... and an investment in my kiddo from ALL the coaches at OP. The players at KCUT are truly unique as they are not only top level tennis players, but also a determined tennis family full of integrity, competitiveness and sportsmanship. The talent level ceiling at OP is so high, it inspires everyone at all levels to excel. Without this club, specifically Elliott and Eric, my daughter would not have been a 7 time team and individual state qualifier with with five All-State finishes... these finishes are important because in tennis, if you dont start early you rarely see success. BUT THESE COACHES and this ENVIRONMENT invest in their kids, demand and help them strive for success both on and off the court. My kiddo had an opportunity to play college tennis, but chose to end her journey. Instead of being disappointed, these OP coaches praised her choice, celebrated her maturity and encouraged her to take what she learned on the court onto the next level as a college student. Is it worth the drive, YES. Is it worth the time, YES. Is it hard, YES. Is it worth the money, YES. Hope this helps someone when making this choice.. and enjoy your tennis ride with your kiddo, I would not trade mine for the world! YAY TENNIS!

Best place to play tennis in Kansas City area for all levels of players—from the early morning older guys group to ladies’ doubles, to the 50+ 4.5 and 5.0 guys, to aspiring juniors, you can’t beat it. 14 indoor courts with good gym and personal training opportunities. Plus 2 padel courts onsite. Great place!
