My kids enjoy the weight room and basketball courts. We live in marana and prefer to drive to ov for the workout area. This rec center is always busy and has people of all ages. They have lots of summer programs for kids. They offer not just sports but art classes as well. There is plenty of parking.

Absolutely love this place. Solid gym, pickleball and tennis courts, and of course, views for days. Oh, and if you like golf there’s that too.

I was sitting by the pool watching my kids swim when I noticed two life guards pointing and laughing at me. They were a man and a women, early twenties, standing by the life guard chair. It was very obvious. They were not even trying to hide it, whispering to each other and laughing at my expense . It made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable and I went inside to watch my kids through the window. I don’t understand how two grown adults can be so cruel when I had done nothing to them and was minding my own business. I don’t think we’ll be returning to this facility again.

Came for the driving range. Although hitting off the mats can give a false sense of ability, it was fine, and the mats are in good shape. There is real grass, but none of it was available for some reason. Unlimited balls for $20. The one thing I didn't like was the severe drop (30 or 40 feet?) at the end of the hitting area. So you really can't tell where your wedges are landing. Also, the balls are getting a little long in the tooth and need to be replaced. Still can reommend.

This center is worth the monthly fees, but I recommend purchasing a monthly membership to try out the facility before committing to longer membership terms. Facilities are a little dated, and sauna in the women's locker room has been out for quite some time with no foreseeable date for going back into service. Pickleball and tennis courts are nice; well maintained and adequate entrances and exits to avoid crossing courts. Classes are a little ho hum and sparse. Workout space lacks windows. Cardio machines mostly face a wall, which is ok, but the lack of natural light is a little disappointing. BEWARE of the "free" assessment being offered by the trainers. It is a waste of time. I signed up hoping to get an introduction to the gym. The trainer promised a 30-minute free assessment when we spoke by phone. When I met the trainer, I spent 10 minutes answering questions and was then told I had to pay to continue with the assessment at $80 per hour. Additionally, the trainer I met with had 3 years experience, no sports degrees mentioned, and stated he had a high school sports background. Because of the bait and switch and the trainers' lack of qualifications, I will be using personal trainers at another gym.
