Orange Grove Park

I feel so fortunate to have found this park--normally we drive by public spaces like this and don't give it a 2nd thought. Luckily, we walked by the courts on a weekend walk and found that in addition to the baseball diamond there are 2 tennis courts as well as 8 lined pickleball courts (each tennis court accommodates 4 pickleball courts). First come-1st served (for an hour). The tennis/pickleball courts are reserved on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, and Saturday mornings. The park facilities are generally well maintained, and I have to note that the bathrooms (at least the Men's room) are always well stocked with toilet paper. The toilet and urinal ARE immaculate, so kudos. Maybe -1 star for no phone numbers in the bathroom.

Enjoy this park and it's greenery. I take my little pup and let her run around for a bit BUT my main reason viaitng this park is to play pickleball. There are about 8 courts which you need to bring your own net and players. I enjoy the ppl BUT the only thing would be they need to update the lights and also paint the court lines. These are currently blue but they are the worst under lights and there's no sun.

Open pickleball play on Tues and Friday. Rest of the week pickleball court is split between classes and people who bring their own nets to play. So if you're not here Tuesday or Friday nights, I guess it's best to make friends with the folks who brought their nets and staked the court. Friendly crowd and fun times. Street parking

Great park for pickleball. Has 4 tennis courts, which can be divided into 8 pickle ball courts. Lines are painted blue, but you'd need to provide a net. There's a meet up group that meets Friday night 6-10pm that is very active and can get over 40 players a night. Courts turnover quickly so there isn't much waiting. The people were very friendly and beginners are welcomed. However, street parking can get difficult and there isn't a lot, and most of the streets around are unlit. I did not notice bathrooms, but Trader Joe's is like two blocks away.

Bring your own pickleball net; shared tennis courts. Morning pickleball classes from 9:30-11:30am.
