We had the best time ever there's a beautiful grass area where you can just sit and relax and look at the ocean and watch paragliders take off over the grassy cliff while you have a glass of wine. Then we saw a man standing on the grass at the bottom of the grass with his forearm out where the eagle would take off and then come back to his arm it was phenomenal

Great place to play for free... Resurfaced courts with great nets and friendly people. And the weather 🌞🌞🌞

Outside: There are 4 courts, mostly taped, and 2 nets provided by PB Rec when they’re open. 2 courts are inside tennis area, 2 courts are in basketball area. People also bring their own nets. The hours you see posted on the website and inside the gym are for indoors pickleball. The indoors people can be unwelcoming to say the least, and barely tolerate you if you’re at a lower level. So if you’re new, a beginner, playing for FUN, use the outdoor courts to practice and improve your game. On Fridays and Saturdays, the outdoors courts are pretty full, so there may be a wait. Just place your paddle on the ground next to your chosen court and your time will come up. Better players naturally gravitate toward one court or another, so if you’re really good you will have some competition. Otherwise, look for your level and jump in. It’s free, it’s chill, it’s PB. 🤗

Great spot for pickup basketball and volleyball. The open gym schedule is posted on the wall of the indoor court so it’s good to be aware of what sport has the indoor gym reserved for the evening. There are also various leagues or classes that occasionally have the gym reserved but that is posted on the schedule as well. I usually only go for basketball, which typically has good competition and isn’t overly crowded except for Saturday mornings on the indoor court. The outdoor courts aren’t the greatest, and are slanted somewhat, but they definitely aren’t the worst. Monday-Thursday afternoons and evenings (outdoor courts have lights) as well as Saturday morning are typically the best for basketball. Other than the courts, there is also tennis courts, a playground, and occasionally access to the large softball field next door.
