Probably the best pickleball venue in Texas, on the same site as a kids' indoor adventure park, outdoor pool and sand volleyball courts. Covered courts and covered spectator areas, lots of parking, plenty of space for both events we attended today -- collegiate championships and AAP pro tourney held simultaneously. Limited food options.

No real indoors playing. More like "under a roof". Cheaper to play in other venues that are actually indoors. $8 to try a demo paddle. No barriers between courts. Balls go everywhere. People go to open play but they only play with the people they came with. I guess that way they don't have to reserve a court and pay more...

I'd say Rockwall rocks because of the Oasis Pickleball Club! Love tennis but hadn't realized how fun & competitive pickleball was until I gave it a shot! Gene Click and staff are super welcoming and helpful! There's plenty of amazing and affordable instructors available to up your skills plus Round Robin games every Tues & Sat to sign up for using the Swish App! Tons of well maintained covered & uncovered courts available for open play year-round. Round Robin on Tues & Sat are fun plus numerous tournaments throughout the year! There's sand volleyball courts, a huge sparkling swimming pool for members to enjoy or pay for the day. Clean restrooms & showers, lockers, lobby, a well stocked ProShop and plenty of parking spaces!

It's really hot in Texas to play outdoor pickleball mid June thru mid September. Very good PB courts and huge patio rest/party area. Clean, but could use more shade covers on farthest courts.
