Out here at the playground enjoying the beautiful weather. My little girl is running around and playing with other children. Great playground! Very clean. They have covered picnic tables with grills available. Think we need some hotdogs next time. We really enjoy frequenting Oakland Terrace Park.

A beautiful community-style dinner full of warmth and incredible food. The fresh fish fry and chicken were delicious, and the people serving us made it feel like a true family moment. Thank you for such a heartfelt evening. Thank you for hosting us during our Warrior Beach Retreat.

They have done a lot of updates to this park including fixing the bathrooms and water fountain. Still wish there was more shade for the toys. Most of the toys have been changed with the last year, and I'm hopeful they are replacing the more toddler size set that was removed. The big green set at least has shade but I would not say it's easy for 4 and under to play on. The pirate ships are a favorite of most kids. But the plastic gets scorching in the afternoon. The aeroglider is awesome but again gets too hot for kids to sit on by the afternoon. However, this is definitely one of the nicer parks in the area. They are continually improving it.

There are a lot of great things about this park from the bathroom, to the jungle gyms, to the amount of slides and play areas for the kids to play on. HOWEVER, this is Florida and it is a hot climate, why is it that most of these parks I have visited do you not have any shaded areas for kids to play? You’re in 90° weather for quite some time and everything is going to burn your child’s skin. Has this not been considered at the last 10 Parks I have visited so far in my 3 mos here.
