Normandie Recreation Center

Normandie Recreation Center is a sizable park with several recreational areas: a baseball field, several basketball courts, a picnic and relax area, a nice playground and exercise area. However, last time I was there (Jan 2022), there are lots of tents on the peripheral of the field and in the parking lot. The park building is closed and homeless people were literally sleeping and living on its porch.

This is such a great resource for our community, but unfortunately the maintenance is sub-par. The apparatus areas and walkways could use a pressure wash as they are soiled and there is so much trash all over the kids play area. Please provide some up keeping to the walk ways in this area.

Beautiful family-friendly environment. Staff are nice. Police patrols often. It feels safe.

Always like this park, it has a gym, baseball field, kids area and programs for youth and seniors

Toddler.area and big kid are, grass, outdoor exercise equipment, basketball, and an enclosed dirt area for kicking a ball around. Parking is hit or miss but worth the hassle. There are usually cart vendors for snacks and a candy/drink truck.
