Nice little playground at the Moscone Park in SF. We went there several times with our kid to play. What we like about it is that it is not super crowded like the big playground just a few minutes away. Also, you do not feel lost between all the attractions.

There are two playgrounds on either side of the recreation center, where the bathroom is located. The playground to the left is the one I'm reviewing and posting photos of. Our one and three year old enjoyed it, but there are definitely structures there for older children. Monkey bars, slides, swings, sand area, and other single or two person activity areas. Free street parking, but can be tricky to find depending on the day and time (we went in the afternoon on a holiday and only got a spot because someone pulled out). Did not notice any picnic tables.

A great park with 2 playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, 4 baseball fields a rec center and a library right next to it. Only a few blocks away from eating establishments and a bus line to get to it. Good for big or little kids.

Lovely park which is conveniently located near the Marina public library, various coffee shops and hip boutiques on Chestnut and Union streets. A block from Safeway, I've enjoyed a few spontaneous picnics while watching various baseball games on one,or both well maintained fields and diamonds, either on the grass or bleachers. Tennis courts, gymnasium, two playgrounds, and a dog run area are just what I recall, plus an area to work on your golf swing. (Is that called a driving range if it's enclosed in nets?) The playgrounds are well used and restrooms have never been a problem. Always open, clean, and have never seen it abused by the homeless or unsavory characters that haunt our public restrooms.
