Montclair Recreation Center

The staff is great but because it's a smaller space and no one turns the fans on (I've even had people turn them off right after I've turned them on...) it gets extremely stuffy and very stinky in the weight lifting area. They need to get some ventilation going, especially in the summer when they don't turn the air conditioning on.

Love the team here!!! Mary at the front desk is the sweetest, warm hearted person. Andrew, Cisco and Tomàs always have a smile, and a welcome. Kain, got the hair, and the style to go with it. Anya…I simply bow down to the queen. Bill, Cyndi’s, Grace, Conner and Drake, guarding lives across the city!!! 😀

I moved closer to this rec center and it’s larger so I had to upgrade my monthly fee. I completely understand due to the amenities and size but have been disappointed regularly. From TVs not working, treadmills being broken, completely being out of paper towels for the entire place to no cleaner in the bottles. Almost every time I’m in there’s a new sign or something missing but a handful of staff hanging out at the front desk. The class schedule is almost impossible to attend for anyone who works a standard 9-5.

Great Reccenter many different ways to enjoy activity with your body. Including swimming basketball , courts , multiple weight rooms , as well as educational centers and other activity zones. Good place for kids and adults alike

Had a blast here i got the day pass for 6$. We played pool then hit the gym. Great place for teens and adults
