McRae Park

The park is very toddler friendly with a variety of equipment for them to climb and swing and play on. There is also a kid-friendly pool that’s only 1.5’ deep. Alongside these are pickleball courts (that get iced over for winter), a sand volleyball area, baseball diamonds, tennis court, basketball court, and a ton of grass space to run around! On and off street parking is also available. It’s a great family destination!

Love going here with my nieces and nephews!! Easy walk away! Newer playground for ALL ages. Even a few things for us BIG kids at heart! There's a saucer swing my nephew swears it's the " relaxing swing" so cool! Store fronts for kids, swings for all ages, slides, Marry go round style ride. There's even basketball hoops, volleyball area, and a kiddie pool!!

The pitch was pretty bad, I think they need to redo the entire field too much dirt and not enough grass. Also the soccer goal posts were in bad shape and fell on one of our players. We will not be coming to this park.

I got heat exhaustion when I was there with my toddler, and Nell was amazingly kind and attentive, as well as all staff, feeding me salty snacks and popsicles and entertaining my toddler until I was ok. Not to mention the playground is all new and up to date for safety, there is also a great little pool.. this park is the best city park I’ve visited!
