McFerrin Park

Such a great park for many ages. The ground is mostly turf but rubber under swings. I have a 10 month old and 2 year old they both had a blast. Nearby trees help with shade. There’s a pavilion with picnic tables.

The grass. They say it's greener on the other side. They don't speak the truth, on the other the other side there is no light to make the grass green. This is the only side where the grass is green, on the side after everything the grass will not be green anymore. This park speaks to me in that way, it reminds me that we are in the best place we can be in and it will only get worse from here.

They have swings, slides,bars and a bench to sit on. You know that I just had to test out the equipment. Everything I'm glad to say is in excellent working order. Lol The grounds are fairly clean, but it's still in a pretty shady neighborhood. It's tucked away in a neighborhood in East Nashville, as if very few people even know about it. I only live about 5 minutes from it and didn't even know it was there. I've lived in this area for over a year. All in all I'd say it was pretty nice. On a scale from 1 to 10 how to give it a 7.

Mostly quite and subdued you can see the entire park from where ever you stand. Has a baseball field, tennis court, and basketball goal. A playground for the kids. The entire park is about one block and surrounded by a walking track. Great place to walk or to bring the family for a picnic.

It was a really nice reunions I really enjoyed myself seeing my old friends and the young people that grew up I hope they keep that reunions alive the come together
