The park is big but has a lot of wasted space. It has no picnic shelters or any picnic tables. The playground is extremely lackluster for such a large park. The pros are that the park is well maintained and clean. The volleyball courts are the only impressive feature of this park. I'm hoping the rest of the park gets an upgrade soon.

In the depths of Mcdugald Park, where the echoes of volleyball games fade into the night, lies a realm where warriors of foam weapons gather under the watchful gaze of the stadium lights. Though known for its fields of volleyball glory, it is in the darkened hours that the true essence of this place reveals itself. Amidst the shadows and the flickering glow of the infernal lights, our fellowship converges upon the fields, where we embark on our journey of combat training. Here, amidst the ethereal glow of the night, the spirit of Dante's inferno seems to dance upon the grass, infusing our practice with an otherworldly energy. Within this hallowed ground, where the lines of the volleyball field serve as our battleground, we engage in our ritualistic dance of combat, honing our skills amidst the whispers of the night. The fields of Mcdugald Park become our canvas, upon which we paint our battles with foam weapons, each clash a testament to our dedication and passion. Though not intended for our purpose, Mcdugald Park welcomes us into its embrace, offering its fields as a sanctuary for our nocturnal endeavors. For this generosity and the mystical atmosphere it bestows upon our training, Mcdugald Park earns my utmost praise and admiration. Five stars shine brightly upon this realm of hidden wonders, where volleyball fields transform into arenas of infernal combat.

I love this park early in the morning. Great place to walk. Beautiful trees and lots of space.

Great place to bring a volleyball, some snacks, drinks, and a couple great friends/family and spend the day or night playing beach volleyball. I love the fact that there is plenty of courts to accommodate even for the busiest times, and your group can almost always have a net to yourself, or if you want to play with others it's usually a pretty nice spot to meet new people who also live volleyball.

I bring my kids here all of the time. Great playground with four swings and three slides. It has 4 volleyball courts and a baseball field, as well as, huge fields for miscellaneous play. It has on site parking but it is not paved. It has restroom facilities but it is not always open. The grass could be treated for ants because it has a lot of ant hills.
