Every year for the past 12 years we as a family have to be at Mathews Park for the winter sledding season. We did so as kids and now we bring our kids to the same place.

Great park..played soccer with the kids, and frisbee golf to trees and light posts. Very few people. Good bathrooms and parking.

Lots of features for a well-rounded neighborhood park: beautiful tall trees, playgrounds, sledding hill and ice rink for winter. (Frozen in 2025 until last weekend of February). Splash pool for the summer (once school is out in June). Tennis courts and basketball hoops available whenever it's not snowy. The rec center is open for the public, including bathrooms during regular hours.
