Maryland Heights Community Center

My wife & I have visited MHCC 2 or 3 times a week for the last 7+ years (minus a one-year COVID pause) for regular exercise in the 2nd floor fitness area. We've always been treated in a friendly & professional manner by the building staff, and the facilities are kept clean & up-to-date (with quick responses to visitor reports of occasional malfunctions of the fitness equipment). We appreciate the initial and continuing taxpayer investment in the property & the management of the Community Center by Maryland Heights Parks & Recreation, and we'll continue to take advantage of what the MHCC has to offer. P.S. - The Reviewer who claimed the addition of MHPD security at the public entrance is "unconstitutional and a violation of the Fourth Amendment" would do well to study the case law. Our protections from "unreasonable search" are typically measured against public safety interests. As long as that balance is maintained at MHCC, there's nothing that I've seen in the process (besides visitors whose reactions interrupt the flow through the checkpoint) to question this public safety improvement in the Center's operations.

Overall a really great place for the family to do activities together. The pool, while not enormous is adequate and very well maintained. There are two gyms with schedule available online, there are many pickle ball players using one of the gyms. The exercise area, including walking /jogging track are upstairs and accessible by stair and elevators. Gym equipment includes LifeFitness, True, Hammer Strength and more. The facility has several room for exercise and also boasts several rooms capable of holding business meetings, get togethers etc. The staff has always been very friendly and the facility is well kept.

Their new renovation is great. I haven’t been here in a while but fell in love with it once I entered for a grad party. Was truly blow always by how well done, clean, and professional it looked. Very well done - so modern!!! Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful recreation center!

We were glad that they opened this community center so close to our house. We joined with the family membership and were pleased with everything about it. The pool had 4 lanes for laps, plenty of workout stations and helpful staff.

I normally swim and the pool is good and the changing area is excellent. Showers are great with a changing area and a showering area. Always hot water. Has upstairs running track and fitness area overlooking the pool. Nanny ppl play pickleball
