Martin Luther King Park

Great location for west siders to access the greenways into downtown. Somewhat sketchy area...two police cars hungout in the parking lot.

This is quiet little neighborhood park I never knew was here it's small enough to tucked away in the back of the neighborhood, yet the playground and playing field is in plain view of the street and seems pretty safe. The playground equipment looks fairly new or renovated.

Small shelter with two bench tables a few feet from playground. Another shelter with bench table further away. Unkempt but functioning tennis and basketball courts. Four big kids swings and two baby swings. Playground is well maintained. Very small Toddler area. Larger big kid area with 4 slides, Tunnel, different types of stairs and monkey bars. Parking lot is a good size, there are trees throughout the park and lots of grass to sit on. Overall an okay park, just nothing fancy or special about it.

Great open area for various sports such as kickball, flag football, or softball. Nice playground for small children & picnic area. Basketball court also at park. There are no lights & located near many high powerlines.

MLK park is a great place for soccer, baseball, basketball, and tennis activities. In addition to that, there is a playground, and two shelters that can be rented from the county for outdoor get together. The parking lot has plenty of parking spots. The playing field is enormous that can be enjoyed by families or athletes alike.
